Ishigaki-Yak Töpferwaren

Die 1970 von dem Künstler Kyo-u auf der südlichen Okinawa-Insel Yoron gegründete Töpferei experimentiert mit pulverisiertem Mineralerz und durchscheinendem Glas, um einzigartige Keramikkunstwerke zu schaffen, die mit den vielen Schattierungen des okinawanischen Meeres verziert sind.

Später hat Kyo-us Sohn das Ishigaki Pottery Studio auf der Insel Ishigaki gegründet - ein Ort, der reich an den für die Herstellung von Ishigaki-yaki-Töpferwaren erforderlichen Mineralien und Materialien ist.

Umgeben von herrlichen Meerespanoramen und allen Schattierungen von tropischem Blau und Grün gibt es keinen besseren Ort der Inspiration für diese Meerestöpferwaren. Im Ishigaki Pottery Studio finden Besucher in jedem Stück eine Reflektion der natürlichen Welt.
